Directions to the fair:
From 95 North, take exit 133 (Waterville/Skowhegan) onto Rt. 201 North and head to Skowhegan. At the light in Skowhegan, take a right and go into town. Go around the rotary of buildings and take a right. About 1 mile on left is the entrance to the fairgrounds. Next to Wal-Mart.
From 95 South, Take exit 157 (Newport/Skowhegan), turn slight right onto ME-100/ME-11 north, take a sharp left onto Main Street/Route 2 south. Follow Route 2 into Skowhegan, go through the rotary, turn right onto Madison Avenue About 1 mile on left is the entrance to the fairgrounds. Next to Wal-Mart.

Campground Rules

Camping Dates:
Saturday, August 3 thru Sunday, August 18, 2024. Maximum length of stay is 14 nights.
Camping Fees:
Due to increases in electrical services, nightly camping fees have been increased.
$40.00 per night for Water & Electric Hookup
$50.00 per night for Sewer, Water & Electric Hookup
Plus daily gate admission for each day spent on the grounds per person, children 10 & under are free. All fees are to be paid with reservation.
Guests & Visitors:
All Guests and Visitors must pay the daily gate admission, if they have a vehicle it must be parked in the infield where they will pay the parking fee of 5.00.
Registration:
All campers must be registered with the camping attendant and any fees must be paid in advance. Any vehicles on site must be registered with the camping attendant. Please limit the number of vehicles on any campsite to 2.
Speed limit on the grounds is 5 MPH, please go slowly and watch for children.
Pets:
Absolutely no pets on the midway or in any of the buildings. Any pets must remain in the camping area on a leash at all times. All pets litter must be promptly cleaned up and their messes disposed of properly. There will be no aggressive pets allowed on the grounds.
Garbage Disposal:
Do not leave trash on the roads or around campsites. There are dumpsters provided on the grounds, please locate one and deposit your trash there.
Water, Electric & Sewer:
Water & Electric is supplied at all camping sites. Air conditioners may be used, please conserve energy by turning off a/c when not in use this will help keep the cost of rent down. If your site does not have sewer hook ups, you must use the dumping station, located on the grounds near the livestock gate (gate #4). A pump truck also makes its way around the grounds, see camping attendant for contact number. All wastewater must be contained and disposed of at the dump station; absolutely no wastewater shall be disposed of on the ground.
Restrooms & Showers:
Showers are located in the Restroom near the Flower Building and in the Restrooms under the Grandstand. Other restrooms are located throughout the grounds. No Smoking in the Restrooms or Showers. No washing of clothing or dishes in Restroom sinks.

All Fireworks & explosives
Campsite Fires will not be allowed anywhere on the grounds.
Intoxicating Beverages will not be allowed in the camping area or on the grounds outside of the Stable (also known as the Beer Garden).
Electric Heaters in tents.
Do Not wash vehicles, campers or trailers anywhere on the grounds.
All rules will be enforced and those not cooperating will be escorted off the grounds after proper warning.

Warning
Upon leaving campers, trailers and or vehicles be sure to lock all doors where as the Skowhegan State Fair will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.
